The Blue Bunny Carrot Cake by the Clone
The Clone is our resident cake decorator as you can see from her more sedate decor when we first posted the recipe for this carrot cake. For Easter, since it’s carrot cake, the clone figured why not decorate with bunny peeps? Them blue peeps were good, too. Blue is her favorite color.
So next time, we’ll be making carrot cup cakes and storing them in these handy dandy cup-cake holders below, thanks to my very generous SisterO!

I am a terrible housekeeper but I do love to cook so it all evens out in the end. I like to try new recipes that I think my family will like. However, I am not one to follow all recipes to the letter. I tend to tweak and change the recipes based on what I have on hand and how I am feeling at the time. Feel free to share your versions, I just might try it out next time I make the dish again.

Hi rowena! I can’t wait to get those cup cake holders. I know the girls and I will start using them immediately. Were we ever excited to find blue bunny peeps this past easter. They are the Clone’s two loves put together. Well three…bunnies, the color blue, and marshmallows! Which just reminded me she wrote a cute poem, ode to the marshmallow. I should post it.
This is just so cute…and I’ve never even seen blue bunny peeps. The post on the cupcake holders was interesting…sure could’ve used those when my son was of school age!
